A New Theologian: David Bentley Hart

David Bentley Hart’s work has attracted considerable attention in the last few years. This series discusses its major points and considers its value for Christian faith.

- September 27 – Hart’s Interpretation of the Miracle of the Transfiguration
Hart, born in 1965 and raised in Maryland, is a philosopher, theologian, essayist, fiction author, and religious studies scholar. He is the author of 24 books and over 1,000 essays, reviews, and papers. Hart’s translation of the New Testament was published in 2017 with a second edition in 2023.
John E. Wilson is a former professor church history and modern theology at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
